The service

TimeToChangeBatteries.com sends reminders you schedule by e-mail and/or text message. Reminders are a convenience: we can't guarantee delivery, and you remain responsible for maintaining your smoke detectors, carbon monoxide alarms and other devices.

Plans and billing

The base plan includes 5 active reminder schedules for $6.00 per year after a 3-month free trial, billed yearly through PayPal. Add-on packs of 10 ($18.00/year) or 20 ($36.00/year) are charged prorated from purchase and renew on the base plan's date. The free trial is limited to one per account, e-mail address and phone number.

Refunds and cancellation

Every charge is fully refundable within 30 days. You may cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period. Removed add-ons remain usable until the renewal date.

Failed payments

If a payment fails, service continues for 20 days; reminders are then paused, and deleted after 3 months without payment. Your account is not deleted.
